I draw it
A horse in a pink hat. A happy sun. A door to nowhere. Every candle gets its own weird, wonderful illustration.
I blend the scent
The fragrance has to match the vibe. I build each scent around the artwork, then balance it with notes that feel subtle, sexy, and grown-up enough to burn every day.
I pour each one
Small batches in my Vancouver studio. 100% soy wax, cotton wicks. Made the same way I'd make art for a gallery.

Hi, I'm the artist behind MFA.
Every candle starts as a drawing in my Vancouver studio. Then I build a scent to match the mood of the artwork and hand-pour each one in small batches.
I do everything myself—from the illustrations to the pouring to packing your order (ok, my brother helps too). MFA is my way of turning drawings into objects people can live with, gift, and enjoy every day.
